Background: This rifle was built in 2007 by Mark Bansner for an Alaskan Brown Bear hunt in the Katmai National Preserve special concession. The hunt was successful but the rifle was never fired at a brown bear, because the hunter was able to accomplish the hunt with bow and arrow. The final stalk covered 400 yards of tundra and the rifle received some mars on the stock via belly crawling over rough terrain. The rifle was sent back to Bansner & Company for complete repainting of the stock and new Cerakote on all the metal. It is in flawless, mint condition.
